[EDIT]10-30-09 i have the game now, and i'm aware that his father's name is Kaden. well, look at that! redundancy in the title! this is too close to "Lombax Style"...but oh well XD; this was...surprisingly helpful for my mental state lol i guess the fatherly elements in it is what helped, seeing as my dad has helped me a lot lately. i don't care how out-of-character this may seem, seeing as i know nothing of how Ratchet's father was or how his separation with his son went...but come on. sending your only child to an entirely different galaxy for their own safety, knowing you'll never see them again, is kind of upsetting in any case. it undoubtedly must have been difficult for Ratchet's father to send his kid away...and at least have some knowledge that you might die in such a situation sooner or later. i was kind of neutral on how to make his father look. i've heard more than enough rumors that the Lombax standing next to Alister Azimuth in this picture is Ratchet's father, although since this hasn't been confirmed by anything official just yet, i wasn't quite sure what to make of it. i think it's unlikely that it's Ratchet in that picture (one reason would be because Ratchet is never seen without that pilot hat of his), but hey, i could be wrong. although since i had no other reference, i just went with it and tried to make him look like the Lombax next to Azimuth in the locket. SOOO anyways, i just wanted to draw something of baby!Ratchet and his (still unnamed lol) father.
